This looks to be a pretty active forum so I thought I'd join in.
Former Marine ('78 - '82) then ARNG while in college and afterwards (to '88). Longtime shooter, since about 1968. I do admit to owning one 9mm and a Mini-14 but I like firearms that sling bigger bullets - .45s and 7.62s and 12 guage. I love full-auto, too, but can't justify buying one.
Also a big fan of sharp objects - knives, machetes, axes, tomahawks, etc.
