As one who spent years in both CC & B’ville; let me explain a bit:

One of the major streets, now an expressway, in Corpus is “South Padre Island Drive’’, which runs West to East, and goes to near the place where Mustang Island meets NORTH Padre Island.

‘’South Padre Island’’ is about 100 miles from that entire area.

Confusing ? Hell yes !
