Some things they are charging tax, others they're not. One thing I like about Gunbroker is the ads state if they are charging tax in your state.

Amazon charges me tax on a lot of items, but it seems to be less than 8.25%. PSA charges the full 8.25%

I think Amazon itself charges the state rate of 6.25% but doesn't collect the local portion. Other sellers through Amazon may or may not collect sales tax.

Possibly if it is a 3rd party vendor in which the item is fulfilled(shipped) by the 3rd party vendor from out of state then you might not pay state sales tax....
