Democrat Rep. Jared Golden – 1 of 5 Democrats who voted against the “assault weapons” ban last year – just caved to the pressure and announced he now supports such a ban. |
He called his prior vote against the ban “a mistake.” |
GOA is leading the fight against Biden’s renewed push to ram this unconstitutional nationwide ban on millions of commonly owned firearms through Congress. |
But we need our army of grassroots members like YOU to help us stop Congress from rashly surrendering our God-given rights in the wake of this tragedy. |
Remember: 15 Republicans in the Senate and 14 in the House “compromised” with anti-gunners and passed gun control in the wake of two tragic shootings last year. |

Now, Biden and the anti-gun lobby are dialing up the pressure on the same cowardly Republicans to find support for the next item on their endless wish list of gun control… |

A ban on commonly owned firearms would do nothing to stop a murderer intent on committing heinous acts of mass public violence like the madman in Maine. |
But it would arbitrarily ban millions of the most common firearms in America, leaving ordinary citizens outgunned and unable to effectively defend themselves from a future rampage. |
Of course, anti-gunners won’t stop with so-called “assault weapons.” |
Their goal is the DEATH of the Second Amendment – and they’ll eagerly exploit tragedies like this until the American people have been completely disarmed. |
We’re also hearing whispers that the swamp may bury a gun ban – or other gun control – in upcoming must-pass funding bills to try and shield politicians from the wrath of gun owners. |
That’s another reason why it’s absolutely vital for you to speak out and ensure your elected officials know you’re paying attention… |
…and that you will not tolerate ANY vote in favor of a gun ban or other gun control, no matter what must-pass appropriations bill anti-gunners bury it in. |
