I have a new Glock 19 gen5 that I’ve had for a couple of months and maybe be fired 100 rounds through it without problems. What I have just recently noticed is when I unload it and I drop the magazine first and then go to rack the slide back, when it’s extracting, the slide only goes about halfway or so not quite reaching the slide lock position. It’s like it hits something hard.
When the round drops and I slide it forward, then I can pull it back all the way again.
This does not occur when the magazine is in place.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
