Here's a security-related gem I'd like to share with all of you, and that's whether you're a Mac owner or PC owner. Gibson Research Corporation's web site is chuck full of security and utility information and freeware. The best tool is ShieldsUP!. Navigate to that link and follow the prompts, and this handy tool will test your computer's internet security (including ports) and let you know if there's any weak spots. Whenever I set up a new computer this is the first place I go. Same thing if I replace a router, etc. It's free, it's effective, and you just can't beat it. Enjoy!
