Maybe I dont understand the situation bt I'm not sure that's the flex you think it is, you probably saved them some severance pay.

No flex intended, I'll leave that to you.

I had volunteered for a severance package and they turned me down. My boss got mad because he had just let two people go from our group and wanted to know why I didn't tell him sooner. He was not smart enough to pick up on the fact I had asked for a severance package a month earlier.

In the land of Pa.? Where many roads have been under construction for as long as I've been driving?

If one thinks it will take an hour to get to work? Leave NINETY minutes early. There will be an accident. LOL.

Figuring mileage? Simple. Drive 200 miles on the trip meter. Fill the tank. Crown Vic takes eight gallons? That is 25mpg.

If one works at the Pittsburgh Airport? One day a week, either coming or going...there will be an accident on Parkway West.

Which means that one will sit for four or five hours. Without moving.

Make sure you have gas...Wintertime & running out of gas on the Parkway? Not good.

I can just look at my screen and see those things without doing math while I'm concentrating on the road and other drivers.
