A buddy of mine stopped a guy from putting fuel into the bilge of a rental boat the same way. We were at the fuel dock and he watched the dummy at the next pump stick the nozzle into a rod holder then give the thumbs up to the pump attendant. It was funny at the time because we would've been well underway before the guy blew the place up.
