Lordy, I remember those. I can't believe my dad ever allowed me to stick 'em on the car.
Stick on decoration for your back window. Basically you were announcing to the world "I get my gas at Gulf and it gives my car an extra kick."
First couple of times hunting in RSA it was like that. They actually had individual people for each job windows, tire pressure, check oil & pumping gas.Remember gasoline wars?
Free glasses/mugs/etc. with a fill up?
Attendants checking the tires, under the hood, vacuuming the floorboards and cleaning the windshield?
I remember getting a cheap fireman helmet after my dad bought so much gas @ Sinclair.I don't recall the ever seeing the horse shoes before.
Had a tiger tail.
Texaco gave fireman helmets at one time, too.I remember getting a cheap fireman helmet after my dad bought so much gas @ Sinclair.
Because Sinclair never did.Texaco gave fireman helmets at one time, too.
I stand correctedBecause Sinclair never did.
Kinda like the " put a tiger in your tank" tiger tail that went under the fill up lid and over the gas cap.
Redheaded raccoon. That took me a second.....
