I wasn’t aware of that. Guess I could see that from a certain small percentage of the population. Mostly they just leave me scratching my head in amazement of just how stupid people can be. (And there’s usually a pretty narrow window of my empathy for them).

If it’s a situation where someone is on the receiving end of just bad luck, then I tend to have a little more sympathy. But if it’s idiots just acting like idiots, well then, they’ve got what’s coming to them.
