He had to freehand that cutout. 45+ years ago you could buy a sunroof from Sears for under $100. It came with a template, just drill a starter hole and use a jigsaw to cut your roof. I still remember being a teenager and nervous as I cut the roof in my pickup knowing there was no fix for cutting too large of a hole.

The 5 speed in my 1999 mustang gt shit the bed on my way to the airport in 2004. The convertible top leaked. One of the front calipers seized up. I traded that piece o crap in when I started hearing noise from the rear bearings later that same year
