They also do jobs Americans won't do, and agro needs them to pick their crops.
They do the jobs Americans won't do for the wages the businesses want to pay. There fixed it.

When I was a kid, a gentleman on my paper route had a '61 Chrysler 300 convertible, so equipped. Black with white top.

    Speedo went to 160mph.

    So did the car!

Kind of slow from 0 to 80mph...From 80mph up? Hang on!

This would have been in the late '60's?

He kept that car for a long time....

They also had a 426 Max Wedge in a Belvedere? I believe? That mopar green with a black vinyl top...It ran like a RAPED APE!

It also had two four barrels ...staggered if I recall?

Used to have a letter series 300 with the 413. Steering got light when you romped on it.

I only ever rode in the back.....The owner would put several of us in the car and take it out (they were working on an expressway, then...we would get out, move the barrels, put them back & jump in...

About 5 miles of nice fresh concrete....no traffic.

Coming out? Same deal...kids all hop out move barrels, set back..into the car...off to the ice cream stand we went! (think? Glen's in Cheswick, Pa is still in business??)

Never gave a thought...bias tires, drum brakes w/single reservoir master cylinder...no seat belts...

Don't worry, this being PA and all? They still working on that fool road!

The 300 was much faster than the Belvedere...but...that Belvedere would flat get it from ZERO to 120!

Could not do any of that, today....

The "fun police" would all have they fool knickers in a knot...LOL!
