Never heard of the game.

Team handball is (or, maybe, was) the best team game in the Olympics. It combines elements of a bunch of other games, the goal being to move the ball down the court from person to person and throw it into a net. It's a bit like soccer but indoors and using hands.

Whenever I've gone to the Olympics, the three things I make sure I see are women's beach volleyball, all the pistol shooting, and team handball.

If they're allowing trans women to run over the natural women, though, I'll be skipping it in the future. Players like that would destroy the rhythm of the game.

When I go to the ballet, I don't want to see the WWE. There's a place for both but not on the same stage at the same time.

The USA Female Team Handball came to my college back in 80s to promote the game. They gave a demonstration, and tried a pickup game. The college team was mostly athletes (male & female bball, base/soft ball), and needless to say it was halted as they were quickly overpowered by the speed and strength of the male baseball team throwing the ball.

On the few occasions when I've had the right credentials to sit with the team on the floor, I've also found a spot in my heart for women's volleyball.
