Lows: 25, 14, 21. Lows not rising above freezing until Saturday. Highs in the low 30's until Saturday.

Demand will stay up until Saturday.

That might be the best option, I just have to add the 60k F-250 to go with it. All things considered I might just go the wagon route or just pony up the money for a standby unit. My grid power is finally back on (for now) and my family fared better than a lot of people. 2020 and this has taught me to take preps a bit more seriously.

Not sure why. I have another on wagon wheels I can pull around manually or with a lawn mower. But make the solution as hard as you want.

also have one of the above units, it only holds 14g though.

The biggest issues with having a large fuel cell is making sure the fuel gets used. If you aren’t actually regularly using however much fuel the extra tank will hold you’ll just end up with a tank full of bad fuel.

And the ethanol mix crap doesn’t last for shit.

I guess if your truck is gasoline you can keep it cycled by filling up from the fuel cell and refilling it with fresh gas. But if you forget about it for too long it’s gonna be a bitch to clean it out.

Harbour frieght hand crank rotary pump, 55 gal drum, pump and drum less than 100$
I've used this setup for years, the pump mounts in the 2in bung and fill thru the small bung hole
Leave it in the back of your truck or trailer to refill, when your done pump what is left in your rigs
55gal is legal to transport with gasoline in it

That 55 gallon drum full of gasoline weights close to 450 pounds.

I think he's looking for an easy temporary solution to his problem.

If a person was filling up equipment every day, on a regular basis, the 55 gallon drum might be a good option.

You don't have to put 50 gal in, you can do 20,25,ect
It makes it really easy to pump from tank to gen set
