I've owned two of those doubles and found them perfect in every way! They are solid, high quality shotguns.

Be cautious of the double triggers. Use only one at a time. It's tempting to place a finger on the forward trigger and another on the rear trigger. Recoil makes both of the barrels fire. Ouch! Don't ask how I know this........

Both of mine had been refinished so I can't speak to the factory finish.

    Good luck with the sale!

My first new shotgun-I paid $41.50 in 1965-they are the essence of shotguns. I tossed and turned all night, but I just can't do it right now-somebody's gonna get a great buy.

Thanks Guys! Would keep, but safe is getting cramped. Need to make some room for some other stuff I've picked up.

Have you thought of slickin' it up with Marvel Mystery Oil and standing it in the garage "just in case?" (That's how old guys think) I've had several through the years and still miss having one, though the house is full of pumps.

Not until now. Thanks!! (kinda mad at you LOL)

I have two shotguns, a Mossberg 930 SPX and this. If I were to add one more "just in case", of which I already have plenty of other options, it would likely be a pump.
