    I have read several news reports on this now and have not found one that definitively said that he knowingly sold to a felon. Although with the conviction I can gather that they had some pretty solid evidence that he did. May very well be a scenario like Matefrio laid out in his supposition of what may have happened. They may have clear recorded evidence of the felon alerting the seller to the fact that he is a felon. I just have yet to find a news article that says that he had knowledge of the felon.
