I like Texas Pete, even though it's made in North Carolina.

Why they named it Texas Pete Ill never know. Carolina Pete would have fit better.

I like Sriracha sauce and Louisiana sauce as well.
I also like creating my own dry ingredient, powder concoctions.

For me there's two categories, Tabasco and everything else.

I'm a fan of Julio's Habanero, Tabasco Chipotle, and the Southside Market original hot sauce.

I have my wife make our own brew with Jalapeños, habaneros, Bahut Jalokias, and the Carolina Reaper. Fantastic since they get stewed then turned into a great hot sauce.

Cholula on eggs. Sriracha on egg rolls. Those are the two I use the most. However, I'll try them all. For example, I always keep a jar of Sambal Oelek. You'd be surprised how often a spoonful of that stuff will make something edible. I love that HEB green stuff, too.

I don't have much use for Tabasco but it'll do in a pinch.

My only real criteria is that I like flavor and heat. Far too often, I run across bottles of red stuff that tastes more like vinegar.

I had a former boss who carried a shaker of dried, ground habaneros with him all the time. He shook that stuff on everything. I'm not that hardcore, by far.

Subscribing. Always looking for new things to try. I like most of them.

I used to carry a big bottle of tabasco in my a$$pack because so few MRE's came with those little bottles, and you can only eat the same MRE's so many times before you have to put something on them.

Anyone go to Firehouse subs? Talk about a selection of hot sauces to try. Their hot to mild scale isn't too accurate, but they do have plenty to choose from.
