This topic could have probably ended up in a number of different boards on TGT, but I just thought I'd leave this right here. I usually like Fark.com as there are a lot of /b/rothers on it, but hole fark are there some ignorant ass people when it comes to discussions about guns.

I hope so! The Wild West was actually a pretty safe place to live. Citizens took care of criminal elements when they popped up.

And yes, "took care of" means "shot full of holes".

I actually like the Wild, Wild West.
Those were the day's when you didnt have locks on your doors. You didnt have to lock your door ever.
Your neighbors looked out for one another. Your kids could walk down the road in safety.
The wild wild west was pretty damn mellow compaired to the daily crime committed right here right now.
Today you have to have security camers on every fucking thing. You have to have alarms on your damn transportation. In the wild west, you would have got you ass shot for stealing, no problem. That's why there wasnt much of it.
Today, Arizona has the Wild Wild West returned to the people. Today in Arizona, you arm yourself for defense. You can do this because the people in Arizona know that criminals are armed to attack. In Arizona you have gun laws " WITH A VIEW TO PREVENT CRIME".
Today in Texas all we have is a bunch of Elitist shit that claims the DPS CHL is working. " HAS CRIME STOPPED"?
CHL licenses do not prevent crime. Restrictive gun laws do not prevent crime. Law Enforcement does not prevent crime.
People arming themselves for self defense is the only way to prevent crime.

I want Texas to secede and turn into the new country with most liberties. The US is sucking on our tit, economically we would be much better off with that lead weight chained to our neck.
