. . . As luck would have it there was a one sentence provision in the Rule-book that reserved the right of passengers to pull the emergency brake cord if any engineer, or his crew began to operate the train wrecklessly in violation of the Rule-book's provisions.

Well a bunch of the passengers did in fact pull the emergency brake cord causing the engine, and coal tenders to separate from the passenger cars, jump the track and plunge down a ravine into a deep river gorge.

Stop this train! I want to get off!

The Texas Nationalist Movement is on the right track. I would vote for Texas independence without any hesitation.

Obama, Feinstein, Schumer et al continue to make a very strong case for Texas getting off that train completely.

I look for Bummer to order the FBI to not process NIC's checks on AR's. AK's, and handguns sold with more than 10 round cap magazines.

It would take considerable time to work through the courts. Meanwhile his gun-grabbing constituents would give him kudos.

I liked the train comparison above. I received an email today comparing North Korea's new leader to Obama. Neither had any military experience or had ever held a real job. Now they are both in control of their counrties.

Our political situation is broken so bad, I fear it is beyond repair. We have something like 60% of our country living off of some kind of government assistance. They vote according to who promises them the most. Our counrty is very close to being a Socialist counrty. The basic idea sounds good. Everyone gets an equal share of the pie. The problem is it leads to complacency. Why should I work hard when I am going to get my pie anyway? Why should I spend the money for home insurance when FEMA will give me money if it gets destroyed by a tornado or hurricane.

This country was built by hard working individuals. Was there greed and corruption? Sure, but not on the scale we have today. The government gave AIG millions of dollars because "they were too big to fail". Bull Pucky. Later investigations revealed AIG managed the politicians retirement funds and investments. Damn we can't loss our wealth and retirement, but we allow the rest of the country to get F#CKED. Will politicians vote for meaningful changes, Hell no. They are the problem. You never bite the hand that feeds you!!

Here is the email I mentioned.
You know the old saying, "The truth hurts" is pretty right on the mark.

Kim Jung Un had NO military experience whatsoever before Daddy made him a four-star general. This snot-nosed twerp had never accomplished anything in his life that would even come close to military leadership. He hadn't even so much as led a Cub Scout troop, coached a sports team, or commanded a military platoon. So he is made the "Beloved Leader" of North Korea.
    Terrific!

Oh crap! I'm sorry. I just remembered that we did the same thing. We took an arrogant community organizer, who had never worn a uniform, and made him Commander-in-Chief. A guy, who had never had a real job, worked on a budget, or led anything more than an ACORN demonstration, and we made him President of the United States - - - - TWICE !!!
I'm sorry I brought this up. Never mind.

I don't understand...Obama shoots $80,000 unmanned drones at "terrorist" on a daily basis but when his drones hit schools full of children and other innocent victims lose their lives due to "collateral damage" we hear nothing of it and there is no national pressure to change that but when a couple lunatics go nuts because they're on prescribed drugs from major pharmaceutical companies that are known to cause lunacy, then we Americans lose the rights that are supposed to be guaranteed to us...absurdity at its finest. I just wish that there was a legitimate course of action we can take to prevent these illegal measures form being taken.
    Excuse the run on sentence

We hear only what they want us to hear, we must be diligent in seeking the truth.

We can do much to stop this, but it will require us getting out on the streets and talking to people.

We have been lazy for a long time an we have a lot of ground to make up.

There are a good amount of Americans who are still capable of critical thinking and have come to realize that if we really want the truth then we must go in search for it on our own. Unfortunately, that number isn't nearly high enough to contest the ignorance of main stream America and the outright fear of most Americans to acknowledge & accept the truth.

Even though we'd all be labeled as extremist & terrorist by CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC & CBS this seems to be where things are headed...Sooner than later it seems.
Fighting violence with violence should always be considered a last resort however. I think the best long-term solution would be for Americans to actually start getting involved with politics at every level. Incumbents should not have a 90+% chance of re-election when they support unconstitutional policies & even more importantly, corporations should have zero, zilch, nadda say in American politics. They virtually run the damn thing at this point and it's embarrassing to even call America a true Democracy because of it.

All this talk of militias and defending our rights is fine, I don't disagree with it IF it comes to that point.

As stated, the MSM would label everyone who joined a terrorist, with that a lot of public support would crumble and with out the support of the public failure will be unavoidable.

Take three steps back an start at the point we are at now. We have no need right now to charge through the streets and I would not support anything like that at this point.

Don't avoid the leg work required to make every attempt to peacefully protect our rights. Hit the streets, talk to every one, change some minds.

If you get one middle grounder to start upswing their critical thinking skills you could possibly effect the outlook of 15-50 people. It's about spreading the idea. Some who would ignore anything we had to say may be willing to their middle ground soccer mom friend who they have known for years.

Don't sit an complain about things getting bad until we are on the verge of losing everything, and not in the limited terms of todays situation, I mean truly losing this country, the. Jump up and grab a gun. Do what needs to be done now while we have time to save our rights without tearing this country apart in the process.

There once was an ambitious, high-spirited young lad who had always wanted to be a railroad engineer, and take passengers on a journey to some place he wanted them to go.

One fine day he had an opportunity to board a running locomotive with passenger cars in tow.

He surveyed the passengers as to whether they wished him to drive the train to his chosen destination. Some passengers were in favor, but most were not.

He decided to simply ignore those who did not agree with his planned journey, and started down the track at full-throttle. Some passengers exclaimed that the Railroad Rule-book said he wasn't even eligible to operate the engine, but he would hear none of such nay sayings. He told them all that he knew what the Railroad Rule-book really "meant" to say better than they.

The passengers then combined their minds, assets, and energies into building another engine, and selected among them the most qualified person to operate the train, and they continued down the track to a destination of their own choosing.
