My curren pride and joy is an el cheapo Mossberg riot gun looking thing. Got it for Christmas a few years back and aint shot it yet..but its in the case all loaded up and sitting just inside the front door...ready for some evil troublemaker demonrat to come bother us. First two is number 4 birdshot and the rest are oo buck.
I just pour a teaspoon of silver bakers sprinkles down the barrel of my Scorpion before each shot and use a bit of napkin and a tamper to hold them in.
Not sure why anybody would want a Henry unless it was free. They are too heavy to carry..too purty to shoot.too expensive to buy and they load funny. For a rifle I will just keep my old winni thutty thutty. It can shoot pretty fast as can be seen when a person stumbles over a herd of hogs.
Model 42 Winchester Skeet Gun & an ASI pump out of Turkey.
What I'd like another of was the Italian-made LUPARA, a 12 gauge DB with hammers & 18.1" barrels, that was stolen when some CREEP stole my antique PU last year.
(That gun stopped many a bar fight when I was an active LEO. = NEVER had to fire a single time at a 2-footed creature BUT it saved me being savaged by a very large & AGGRESSIVE cur-dog not long before I retired . = ONE load of #4 Buck was more than he could live with.)
