    Good reminder Texan. So many of us live with a gun on our person or at arms length we often forget to child proof a house the few times a year it becomes necessary. All my grand kids know not to touch a gun when they are not being supervised but sometimes they could get caught up in the moment. Last thing I want is to have a tragedy occur when I am the one that could have prevented it.

    We don’t ‘’Childproof the House’’;

    We do ‘’Gunproof the Child’’ !

    Firearms safety training, and other safety training, starts early and lasts a lifetime !

    leVieux,

    GK's aren't guests per se, they're family and as such 'of course' they can stay at the house any time cuz I love em...

    Both of mine are grown and are well trained in the use of firearms.

    Oh regarding non-family, I don't care to have them as guests because I'm a grumpy old bastard, set in my ways and I don't want to hear or see them and they might decide to take it upon themselves to sit in my special spot, can't have that, arrrrggghhh...!
