Seems so.
"they will likely be dissolved to lessen the competition in the AR15 market"Their web presence at Remington Outdoors is now empty.
Remington has absorbed them as part of the Remington group. It's likely they will be dissolved to lessen competition in the AR15 market.
...they will be dissolved to lessen competition in the AR15 market.
Perhaps.
"Competition in the AR15 market" is an interesting concept.
With a paid-for CNC machine and block of aluminum a quality AR receiver costs next to nothing.
All the bits and pieces to assemble a middlin' quality rifle add up to not a lot.
Hard to imagine that one company, even an enormous one, can influence the market very much.
Yup! Tool wear, machine up keep, paying an operator/programmer, other consumables, and don’t forget fees because once a business is running all kinds of blood suckers want a chunk of the pie.You still need to pay people to make and assemble all those parts and maintain all the machines. Add in shipping, insurance, and customer service too.
Does RG have any AR offerings at this point?

It's strange that I haven't noticed DPMS or Bushmaster rifles missing but now that I look back I haven't seen anything from them in years. It all makes sense now.
