Some hospitals believe that good food is healing. Guess that wasn't part of your particular rehab.
During my hospital stay, every day I was given a menu of available selections. Some of the food was good, some barely fit for human consumption. After several days, I had a desire to have food that wasn't part of their menus ( burgers, tacos, etc)

The Med Center might be good but that is not the case with Methodist Willowbrook. I spent 5 days there in Feb. of this year with pancreatitus. I forced myself to wade through most of the meals until I got what was referred to as a hamburger. My first and last bite made me think of salted owl poop soaked in cow urine. I don’t have any reference for that combo. It merely crossed my mind as a distinct possibility.
Yeah, too much salt really fucks up some good owl poop....

You had phuggin FOOD while in for pancreatitis?????????????????????????????

I been in 2 diff times in two diff hospitals in two diff states..... they had me on pancreas rest and morphine. The first time just water for 5 days; the second time no water either. You a lucky dog.

The first thing I did after release was a Double Double Animal Style with two orders of fries.
