someone rides with you in your truck and you've been out where its muddy and they can't keep their freaking shoes on the floor mats?
I've got Weathertech mats, they fit from side to side and they still have to put thier muddy shoes up on your carpet or better yet, they just have to sit wtih their leg folded and let their shoes rub on your dash or glove box

No feets on the dash unless she's planning to put out.

Worse yet when they kick the shit out of your steps trying to clean them. Just get in and keep your shoes on the mat. No need to scuff the crap out of my steps for no reason since you aren't cleaning your shoes anyways.

yes it pisses me off! even when their feet aren't muddy, they should be nowhere near the glovebox, and certainly not on the dash getting their greasy toes all over my windshield! i can't stand a smudgy windshield.

My 1st three vehicles were Chevy or GMC "trucks".
Steel dash. Floormats sat on a steel floorboard.
The glovebox door could be a lethal weapon.

Only recently have I given a damn.
Only recently have "trucks" become "cars".

I've been guilty of this before....not because I like to slam doors (I hate it) but when it's a car I've never been in before sometimes it catches me off guard how easy they close!

Some people are just dicks and like to slam every door they go through!

    Sent from...wait where am I!?

Force them to dig their own graves at gunpoint. That will get the message across.

    Wow!

More people like me who don't suffer fools.

I keep the interior of my truck pristine.

    The outside not so much.

I too have Weathertech mats and there's no excuse for passenger putting their wet/muddy/just plain dirty footwear anywhere except on the mats.

When I'm the passenger in someone elses vehicle, I'm considerate about these things, so I expect the same in return.

Unfortunately, the only ones I can holler at for this egregious infraction is my two grand children and I don't actually holler at them. I look at their foot placement, point with my index finger and shake my head no. They then sheepishly put their feet on the mats.

They probably use to own a Jeep

sent from a Galaxy far away

Actually, the worst time my truck door was slammed, it was done by an individual that currently drives an older jeep.
Slammed it so hard the speaker wire came off the speaker.

Cuz for 20+ years I drove almost exclusively crappy old trucks that needed you to slam the doors a bit to get them to completely close. So at times when I "slam" a door it's not because I need to but that the act is just normal and not something I'm even aware I'm doing.
