There aren't many of those left. I last saw some (besides the 'decorative' ones we have here) about a year ago on abandoned poles along a railroad track. They're all gone now.
People do shoot at aerial power lines, coax, and fiber. Sometimes they actual hit them and cause an outage.

Got the 336RC out the other day for pictures I needed for another purpose but why not share them here? 1951 Marlin 336 Regular Carbine Waffle Top (undrilled) with a Vintage Redfield model 70 sight (one just sold on eBay for $331) in .30-30 Winchester.

Thats a nice one. I would love to have one from the 1950's. My step dad bought one new in 1958 that he keeps at his ranch. We shoot it all the time.

I like that 336 and it's in excellent condition. I bet that rifle dropped some deers.

I have a 336 in 35 Remington, but ammo is scarcer than an honest politician! And expensive when it can be found!

My favorite 30-30 isn't a lever gun.

I call this one, the original 30 Super Carry.
