Do any LGS, preferably in Austin, carry Kidd receivers?

You guys and your Kidd/Green Mountain threads got me itching to start yet another project I don't have the time or money for.

Does anybody sell Kidd receivers locally, or do I have to order one direct from Kidd? For that matter, do any websites other than Kidd's website resell them? I can't find any.

I don't know anyone that sells them locally. Midway used to offer them about 2 years ago but I haven't checked recently. Just order direct from KIDD and have them send it to your FFL. If they have the one you want in stock you can usually get it within a week.

Kidd is in Texas. Best just to transfer one in to the LGS of your choice.
