This is an attempt to put the hurt on the young healthy folks to try to drive them to the govt run exchanges. They know obmacare will fail if people don't turn to these exchanges. They tried to get the NFL and others to promote obamacare for them, and they were denied. They are getting desperate

And they will be getting more desperate as the date for full enactment AND the 2014 elections approach. They will move into the "Panic the people (sheeple)" mode sooner rather than later and they'll try to demonize anyone who detracts from their Socialist/Marxist agenda.

Listened to some expert on NPR telling us how great it was going to be.

I still cannot believe John Roberts voted for this. It must have been a trade off to be the sole person who appoints judges for the FISA court.

I've been reading a lot about how Hitler dismantled the Weimar Republic in Germany and sidestepped the constitution. The similarities are too striking.

There are a LOT of similarities between certain parts of history and what's going on today. Look at some of the issues before the Revolutionary War. Add to that the overbearing government taxation and interference with states' commerce that precipitated the War Between the States (states' rights being the cause of THAT dust-up).

Even MORE scary is the very close similarity between the causes of, and government actions during, the Great Depression and now. Freezing and increasing wages. High unemployment (caused by government-induced excessively high wages during the Great Depression). Government bailouts. Printing extreme amounts of money. Rising government debt. Unfortunately for the U.S., the policies of the FDR administration extended the Great Depression's effects and this country didn't recover from it until AFTER WW II, when the war-time production was changed back to civilian production.
