the receivers are made by a certain few machine shops out there. if you search for upper receiver markings on the internet, you can get a break down of who makes what and where. Delton's is not made by them, but more than likely Cerra Forge on the upper so itd be good. Your biggest concern would be the barrel and BCG. look for the deals on Daniel Defense Barrel for like 170 all over the place right now. then a good quality BCG from LMT, BCM, Colt, DD, Young(properly staked on the gas key ensuring reliability, and MPI/HP). after that, the handguard of your choice and gas block/FSB you prefer to round it out. the Lowers are going to be totally up to you as to what you like for hte insignia

Stripped lower and stripped upper, yes. Put good internals in it, and a good barrel
