This^^Both of course.
If only one is an option I'd say the Century given the current political state.
Plus 44 Special is a Fudd round.
Although the Winchester is a re-blue with a modern Marbles tang sight, I would choose the Winchester..A) I believe that it will appreciate faster. B) Reality is that "assault" rifles are going to soar on the black market but legal sales are going to drop rapidly. C) I enjoy shooting my lever guns more than my 3 "assault" rifles and with the price of ammo my days of keeping two cans bouncing are gone. That said that CZ is a rockstar! Two rifles I want to add to the collection recently appeared for sale at the same time.
Genuine Win 92 in 44 spl for $1000 and a Century VZ 2008 in 762x39 for $750.
Which would you get? I have a Cimarron 73 in .44 spl already as well as a Russian AK. I doubt I’ll see either opportunity again.

Are you talking true select fire assault rifles or the devilcrap definition?C) I enjoy shooting my lever guns more than my 3 "assault" rifles and with the price of ammo my days of keeping two cans bouncing are gone. That said that CZ is a rockstar!
Back in the 70's I had two sub guns and three assault rifles, My post used italics around "assault" meant to imply that incorrect definition used by left leaning law makers (devilcrap), which any new restrictions will address ALL semi automatic weapons with magazine capacities greater than around 10 rounds. I still have a FAL (L1A1) an AR-15 now which I referred to as dual can bouncers...after my post, I realized that the 92 also had a replacement barrel so not worth the $1000 the CZ better collector and value at $750.Are you talking true select fire assault rifles or the devilcrap definition?
When you said it was a .44 sp, I assumed it was a modern Japanese gun, as that caliber was not available on an original prewar ‘92.i learned more about the 1906 era 92 and it is definitely a refurbished (caliber conversion to .44 magnum). So, I don’t believe it’s worth the $1000.

If you want an original ‘92, I would highly recommend Austin’s guns on GunBroker.

I have bought most of my old guns from him, great guy that comes across some really cool old guns. He doesn’t have a lot right now, but he starts new auctions on Mondays, and they are always, penny start, no reserve auctions.
