If I remember correctly, that model was completely off target. They had a real rounded plane, where the actual thing was angular. I think they made a big deal about it's accuracy before anyone saw the real thing. Threw the dogs off the scent.

This is the one from 1987. Does not look anything like what the real one ended up being like. But it made quite a stir back then. Government Disinformation is not new, LOL.

I remembered the hubbub about it. The actual model, not so much. I remembered it as being a lot more similar to the real thing.

I guess of all the things I've lost over the years, I miss my mind the most.

Six degrees of separation thing. I know the guy (Tony Landis) who took the first pictures of the F-117 which were subsequently made public and blew the lid off the program. Amazing and ironic thing was at first the Pentagon and federal government wanted to crucify him for revealing the aircraft, but since he had been on public land when he'd taken the pictures there was nothing they could do. So what did they end up doing? They gave him a job, I kid you not. He was offered a job at Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB and was given a security clearance so he'd be able to photograph some of the classified vehicles during flight test. Fact is often more strange than fiction, and sometimes borderline insane.....

Give him a job, put him under your control. Makes perfect sense.

I have the pic. I'm pretty good at spotting fakes and know what to look for. I looked it over VERY thoroughly and the only conclusion I can come to is that it is 100% legit. Everything in it fits with the released details. With all this conspiracy theory shit we hear now, I mean I understand how people are lead to believe that with the way some of these situations go, but it just isn't the case here. Long story short, this pic is 100% proof, as far as I'm concerned, that Osama is dead and was killed just a few days ago like the story goes. There are several fakes out there, some of which have been floating around for years, but they are all pretty blatantly obvious. In all of my experience with computers, digital imagery, etc, the only educated conclusion I can come to is that Osama got face fucked by some 5.56 a few days ago and is sleeping with the fishes. I'm as skeptical as it gets, and after examining the facts, that's my conclusion.

I sure know of plenty of people who say they've seen the legit pic.
Now, some of them may be talking about that famous fake - but the real pic is FAR too big to keep much of a lid on for long.

Okay, well I was wrong. The pic I saw just turned out to be the best fake of them all, but the original is higher resolution and proves it was a fake. Damnit. Okay well I guess I'm back to wondering what the truth is. Release the damn pic Obama. It was paid for with the blood of countless great men and women, we deserve to see it!

A friend sent a picture of some "devout" Muslims in Afghanistan smoking pot. I asked about that and he replied that they are "...Muslim when it's convenient."

OBL was a megalomaniac, like Hitler, Mussolini, Amin, Mao Zedong, etc. Guys like that think they are above everyone else. In this case, it appears to be caused by a lead deficiency, which was corrected by the U.S. Navy.
