The only really crazy story that I have is this one, I could probally remember some more but this one is just the one that I know really well.

Got called out on a 10-50 (wreck) at like 9pm at night, not a lot of detail except it involved a big rig and a car, we are all thinking the worse (head on) We arrive on scene to see that the big rig was a good 100 feet behind the car on the right side of the road and the car was in the ditch on the left hand side, everyone is out of the car and ok, we asked what happen and the driver of the car just points to the middle of the road, we see a full grown bull on its side dead in the left hand lane. The story we got is that the big rig hit the bull and it went into the left hand lane and the car hit it and pretty much jumped it i think the car was a little saturn, no joke.

Waiting on EOD SGT in blast room to finish up drilling propellant cylinders out of an RPG, really close to being secured for the day. While we were looking through the glass, joking about if he didn't slow down, and the tubes heated up it could be....BOOM....we all start laughing our asses off, when a moment of clarity hit, everyone turned to me, and says "Heyya DOC, shouldn't you get in there?". He had some shrapnel in his neck, and blew the tips of two fingers off, nothing life threatening...

Payback was the same SGT about three weeks later running guys through the gas chamber locked me in an observation room, opened the Vent, and allowed everyone on deck in the burn room watch as I banged against the door, and was scrambling around in there trying to get out. They had masks...I did not.

Lots more old stories....but would love to hear others...

I'm just a regular joe,not cop, fireman, emt or any of that.It concerns a hunting and camping trip I took one time to the big thicket area of east Texas, over by honey grove if anyone here knows where I'm talking about. It is really thick stuff, almost like a jungle.I had set up camp and was getting ready to sack out,it must have been around 2200 when I heard the most blood curdleing scream I've ever heard. It sounded like a woman screaming but I didn't think it would be a woman way out in the sticks that time of night.I heard it come from over my right shoulder, then a little later it sounded like it had moved.I thought it might be a panther, but I didn't know.I built up my fire and never saw anything but I sure didn't get much sleep that night. To this day I don't know what it was. sj

protitutes were getting plentiful in west arlington, so powers to be decided to run a sting operation. They sent a fresh faced kid right out of the academy. Sure enough he was approached and made a deal.
she had escorted him back to his car and planted a big kiss on his lips . We approached and she was cuffed and taken back to the station for processing. As they were frisking her they called for a male cop. We wondered what the heck and checked it out. She was a he and had kissed the rookie right on the lips. Pretty hard for him to live that one down.

i may have posted this onee before, but back oh id say about 10 years or more ago, i was dicking around out int he pastures/fields around my house with my bb gun. i ended up ploppng down under a tree, and it was such a nice day i faded off to sleep.
i woke up around dusk, must have slept fro 2 or 3 hours, and there was a cute little kitty next to me. that i hadnt seena round before. (we had a multitude of barn cats) well after playing with the cat for a bit still half sleepy, a deer or something made some noise behind me. the cat turned around and ran off with its big fluffy tail stuck up int he air. it was then i noticed it had a big white streak down its back and tail.

talk about a case fo mistaken identity.. it was a damn skunk!
got luck i didt get sprayed. hah!
