    I'll go first.

    1) The number times I've purchased a firearm using my CHL is higher than the number of times I've carried concealed.
    2) My AK-47 once went off at a range during the cease fire.
    3) I used to be anti-gun.

I went to Fort Sam Houston to work on a linear accelerator. Opened my trunk to grab my tools. Realized two AR's were tucked away in their cases. Was very lucky I didn't get the random vendor search that day.

Open (Constitutional) Carry should be the way of the land, but you'll likely never see my tool.

Already made a thread about this, but I have had an ND in my home doing "dry" fire practice. Luckily all my dry fire practice made my aim real good and I hit dead on on the closet doorknob I was aiming for about 5 yds away. Also at least I was following one rule and was aiming it at a part of my house where it couldn't go into other rooms. Doorknob stopped the 124gr HST dead in its tracks (who needs plate carriers when you can just glue a bunch of doorknobs to a vest ) Lesson learned, if you are going to dry fire, never interrupt the chamber clearing steps for something else and then come back to said gun thinking it's clear (I had dropped the mag, went to check my round setback on my SD load real fast and came back seeing no mag and thinking the gun was clear).
