I occasionally will get a prompt on my computer about a "script running..." which drastically slows down my computer. Usually i can't trace to any one source, but I will say that it seems like it comes from Yahoo as that is my email provider and that is the site that is always open. However, it is not an everyday thing by no means, and Yahoo is open always when I am online. maybe twice a month this has happened prior.
Which brings me to today.....
Today my computer has gotten these messages three times and might i add every time a certain other firearm forum was open. One I don't normally visit, but it seems to be the source, at least today.
I don't know much about these things and wonder if someone here could shed a bit of light on what is exactly going on.
Can I block specific sites from doing this?
