I am considering buying this full auto Crosman for fun backyard shooting plus scaring away the hordes of migrating doves and starlings plus the occasional feral cat. I am not interested in kill or knockdown because I have real weapons to take care of that if needed.

I just think it would be fun to blast a stream of BB’s for no particular reason other than it is full auto.

    Any thoughts?

400 fps is a bit slow. The little CO2 cartridge will not last long.

Thats it for the downside. It looks like fun. It would be a blast chasing the squirrels that congregate at the wife's bird feeder.
Older version is 100 bucks less here

I'd say it's a fun toy. probably use up alot of BBs and powerlets. might make squirrel mad. a wannabe M-16 pistol; maybe good for training prep. better not put a brace on it though! could be made in China if that matters.

I had one back in the 70s.
It originally operated on a can of freon.
I adapted it to work off air pressure from a separate tank.
But it was never very strong.

Back in the day when Freon was cheap, I had one that used a 1# can of Freon and 3000 BBs. Not sure of velocity, but effective range was about 10-15 yards max., and accuracy was within minute of cat.

    Damn, didn't see this.
Sounds like the same one, lol.

What ever happened to the Russian one from a few years back? Personally I'd rather have the Feltman Products Feltman Pneumatic "Machine Gun" Air Gun.

    This one

I used to have one. They were awesome. The easily killed birds and small animals and would hurt you on ricochet.

You loaded the co2 and bb in a magazine in the grip. Get a couple extra mags and have a blast. It was select fire, for rounds and rpm, and accurate for as far as they were effective.

How does it compare to the electric one by Barra? Says 1000 rounds per charge. Near same velocity. If there was an honest review of the two.
