Coming Home!

2 more weeks and I begin the treck east to get back to the motherland. 5.5 years of living in the desert is enough for me. Nothing like coming back to the coast where one feels truly at home.

Once Texas is in your blood... nothing compares. There are certainly very nice places around the orb to visit, but Texas is home!

Yep - born and raised at the mouth of the Brazos. Growing up, all I wanted to do was get away and see different places. Now that I'm older and (hopefully) wiser, all I want to do is get back to friend, family and home. Luckily the opportunity presented itself, and I was smart enough to take it. Not looking forward to the drive or the move, but the end result will be worth it for me and my family.

I look forward to weekends on the bays, duck hunting and generally being in God's Country again.
