FWIW, Fadhi's on Westheimer & Dairy Ashford will often have a dish they call "Butter Chicken Curry" which is essentially Chicken Tikka and it's AMAZING! Call ahead and ask, they don't have it all the time.

Ah yes, Fadis also has a new Sugar Land location on highway 6 near the sugar land court and the new HEB. It has a drive thru.

And yes, butter chicken, AKA chicken makhni. Makkan means butter in Urdu, I imagine it means the same.

Give M&M grill a try someday, they're on Almeda next to a tiny mosque. They're not exactly paki/Indian food, rather Mexican and Mediterranean, also normal American stuff, hence the name. Their double loaded cheeseburgers are badass. I might post a pic later.

Tikka is a starter for Indian food. I've had several dishes, but it's my fav. Be sure to get nan with it.

I acutally went last night. Not bad. I've never had it before so can't give a comparison but it was pretty good.

I wasn't really big on it at first. But I tried a few different things, and have it once a month or so now.

Chicken Tikka Masala, "A true British national dish". Wikipedia says odds are the dish was invented in SCOTLAND.
I think it's pretty funny cause I'm Scots-Irish and Tikka Masala is my go-to entree at Indian restaurants. I always thought I liked Indian food, but really I guess I'm just a fan of food from the old country.
