This phrase was my dad's go-to comment, probably once per week for the years I was living with my parents. We're still doing it & it's been going on for 60ish years.
My mother used to day the same thing but added" on a downhill slide and going fast".

I think the hill is getting steeper. Closer to a straight fall.

Any person can run for Congress and have a rap sheet a mile long and still be a voting member. Congress can toss that person as unfit but unless they toss the person, that person can vote. Ted Stevens from up Alaska way was convicted of 7 counts of corruption and stayed in the US Senate till he lost his seat to a Dem in Stevens' last election bid. He later had the corruption convictions overturned in court as I recall.

It appears that the felony conviction might NOT be an automatic disqualification, though the voters might conclude otherwise. What's scary TO ME is, I thought it was laughable that AL FRANKEN thought he stood a chance to get elected to the U.S. Senate, but HE WAS RIGHT!

Up until 1975, I believe, these damn people were considered mentally ill. Then for whatever reason, the AMA or whomever, decided they weren't! What tha hell? I still think all of em are sick folks. This country has lost it's way for damn sure!

In 1974, the American Psychological Association resolved/declared that homosexuality was not a psychopathology. I don't defend homosexuality, and I am SICK of it being interjected into nearly EVERY piece of entertainment I encounter. But by the criteria established, they're no more "sick" than someone who chooses celibacy (and is not a priest).

As long as it doesn't involve me, I can care less what lifestyle people have. Treason on the other hand, I have nothing but loathe for. He/ she will always be a traitor in my book and I don't care how they got away with it.

Why is the title of this thread say "Chelsea" when it's "Bradley". It's a female impersonator. No matter how much this mental mixed up traitor thinks he's a girl. It's never gonna happen on the pronouns.

Freak, POS. Get some self respect.
