Tec-22. Biggest POS ever made and widely distributed. As you shoot it the top cover holding the bolt in and the sites bends.

But Cheapest is the pair of 22 revolvers I bought at a gun show 23 years ago, $20 for the pair. Technically they work, but are really rough. Bought them to practice fixing revolvers on.

Recently, bought a used Ruger EC9 from the gun store. $109 out the door. Sure, I bought, and was given, cheaper things like 22 rifles.
I just thought it was a good deal.

I stumbled across a Star Modelo Super 9mm Largo w/525 rounds of ammo a few years back. Picked up the package for $200.

I almost hate to repeat this tale; but an associate in Corpus sold a nib British 20GA sidelock SXS and a nib Anschutz .22, oiled hand cut walnut, for $150 the pair. Said “Wife didn’t want guns in the house” ! I had advised keeping them for his Grandsons out in Jim Wells County.

Just out of high school a friend tried to bum $20. I reminded him that he already owed me $20. He walked to his truck and handed me this high standard and the leather rig. He said I should keep it for collateral. That's been 30 some years ago. I sold it before we left for TX along with a Springfield V10 Ultra compact, kinda kicking myself for that..

The cheapest gun I've seen was a Raven at a Houston Pawn Shop many years ago. $15 each or 2 for $25.
I decided to pay $237 for a Colt Government Model 1911.

The old WWII 1911’s from Colt, Remington (Typewriter Co.), International, etc. can always be made to work fine by changing parts.

I bought a High Standard Derringer (22 WMR) for $15 from a friend at work back in the 90s. Those things sell in the $500-$600 range now.

I bought my dad and I each a Davis Derringer in 38 special. $59 each.
They were the sloppiest things ever. Like capgun toys.
I made shims for the frame and barrel fitment using soda can aluminum. Not an easy task being the size they were. Very small but I did it and they worked great. Now we could hit a car versus a Barn they must of had 10 lb triggers.
Dad passed and I sold them both for $175 for the pair minus the soda can shims.
