the only bad thing is that the cheaper prices are only at the wal-mart and heb, regular gas stations have it for the regular price

it basically does me know good since i only buy at shell and i use premium

if i ever get another powerstroke i would probably buy there though

I paid $3.39 for diesel yesterday. It's much better than it has been. Now when I let the pump run until it shuts off an $100, I get over half a tank! I don't bother with the hassle of re-pumping that 2nd (and 3rd at one point) time unless I'm going on a road trip.

Our CLK takes premium and I think we're down to something like $2.80 to $2.90/gallon now.

Boating season is pretty much over so no more $250 fill ups with premium for it.

Also, for mobile on the road access, if you have the Android G1 (Google) phone from T-Mobile (might work for iPhone, but I've only used this on my G1), you can download an app called GasBot for free from the Android market, which locates your current location via GPS and gives you the cheapest gas prices within your desired set range. You can customize your settings such as ranges from 2 miles to 20 miles along with your choice between Unleaded to Premium to Diesel. Once you identify the lowest price, you can click on that gas station and it'll give you turn by turn directions, using Google maps, on how to get there from your current GPS location. This has actually been a really useful app on my phone.

Some info for the app:

I actually have something very similar on my AT&T phone with the AT&T Navigator. It allows you to do the same thing. I like that feature!
