Cheapest 7.62x39 & 7.62x54R ammo?

I'd like to pick up some AK and Mosin food...

7.62x54R - 440rds - $85 plus shipping
7.62x39 - 500 - $108 plus shipping

Are these the best deals around?

Also, should I get laquer or polymer ammo for the AK? It gets cleaned after every range trip...but this is more of SHTF/reserve ammo.

How much is shipping? That is something to consider before saying it is a good deal.

I normally pay $239-244 shipped for 1000 rounds of AK ammo. It does not matter what it's coated with, it all shoots out of an AK just fine.

Check the COPES web site I think they charge 7.95 for shipping ammo.

I got 500 rds of 7.62x39 new Russian from COPES a sponser here and the shipping was 7.95.
they got some good deals on ammo.

Ordered 300 rds from copes...great guys to deal with. I wish they carried a variety of JHP's, i'd order everything from there.
