I wish it were easier to get bullets that worked across all my 30 caliber platforms. The 30-30 needs round nose but the 308 does much better with heavier JHPs. And blackout really needs bullets that are much heavier or much lighter. Why even bother concentrating on 30 cal?

I may get into 300 blackout soon and eventually load some 243 rounds for a friend. Ever since I got started with the 45 colt, reloading has been the gift that keeps on giving, especially in these unusual times.
If you load 223 you can make your own 300 BO cases. Super easy.

Buy the tiny chop saw from Harbor Freight.
Cut 223 brass at the base of the shoulder.
    Resize in 300BO dies
    Trim case to length.

FYI, there is a jig that helps this process on ebay.

    Link to jig:

Sierra makes a 125g flat HP that is awesome. I’ve been using it for 15 years. And surprisingly its usually available due to people thinking you have to have 150g plus.

I’ve taken deer and pigs with it. The pig below almost had the backside shoulder blown off. 4-6” hole.

If you are going to load 300 AAC in subs, I recommend Makers bullets. I had trouble stabilizing the heavier 200 gr. I backed down to 190 and got pretty good accuracy. But I really suggest not using subs for hunting, although many do. I just prefer more power and 110 gr. TAC-TX from Barnes, esp. for hogs.

    .327 Federal

    .38 Special
    .357

    30/30
    .35 Remington

.45 Colt, but it's been a long time.

I used to reload for a lot of other rifle calibers.

I just reloaded a few .32 Longs today. Trying to find a decent load for an H&R snubby using 100 gr DEWC over Unique or Bullseye.

So far, I'm up to 2.2 gr of Unique and everything looks good. I probably won't go above 2.4 gr. That should put me at about 800 fps with the 100 GR bullet.

Next up will be shot cartridges for the same revolver.

Being kinda new here, I thought it would be interesting to see what calibers everyone reloads. I started to do a poll, but it appears it would be limited to about 8 choices. Since I would bet we have a wide variety among the membership, I will ask that you simply list what you reload.

I will start . I have been reloading .243 and 30-06 for many years. Dabbled with 44 mag a little , but I don't shoot it much. A couple of years ago started reloading 300 blackout . With the purchase of a Thompson Contender and a few barrels, I have had to add 7-30 Waters, 7 TCU , and will soon try 22 Hornet.

I also decided to try a few reloads for my first centerfire as well, 222 remington. I recently loaded a few 257 Roberts for a friend.
    3006,7rem mag, 8x57,300 bo ,357 mag 38 special, 9mm, 32-20, 25-20 ,41 Swiss cf, 30 luger FN 5.7
Two sets 7 rem mag with brass and bullets for sale, sold the rifle! trade for 308 stuff

I don't know that I've ever seen a 22 jet before. I'm gonna have to go through my collection now and check to see if I have one.

I have recently come across a .256 winchester (magnum?) pistol which I might buy mainly for the scope on it. But then the gunsmith told me he had a set of dies and I believe some brass as well. So I might add .256 to my list as well. IF I can find bullets.
