Build or Buy a DPMS AR15

Have decided on the DPMS, after checking around I cannot see any difference in price of building or buying one. Can anyone point me in the right direction on building one cheaper than buying a DPMS?atriot:

if your goal is just to have a stock DPMS and there is no price difference, just buy one

If you want a dpms just buy it but first explore your ar options there are alot of good deals out there right now.

BTW, I read from another forum that Dave Cote at DRC Firearms sells these for $925.

I found an AR15, DPMS upper and Double Star lower for $885.00. I am willing to consider other AR's if there is a problem with the one I am looking at. I would rather spend a little more and have a quality product.

nothing "wrong" with a DPMS, I have owned them. You need to get what you like and are comfortable with.

Do yourself a favor and just buy a complete Armalite rifle from Buds gunshop(or locally). They are available for as little as $835. They have staked gas keys, chrome lined chambers,etc,etc for the same amount of dough you can build one for. And...if you know the history of the gun, you will appreciate the fact that Armalites were the originals and still some of the best out there.
