Here's some pictures from the Buda Gearheads car show this weekend. The Austin F-Body club was there with about 30 new Camaros.

    Nice stuff!

Some pretty good low light shots there Alan. Getting more used to that new camera?

This camera has a really high ISO level ... so in low-light I still can run 1/60 - 1/80 shutter speeds. Combine that with the VR (Vibration Reduction) lens that has an internal gyroscope balancing the lens pack and you get decent pictures. The VR makes a huge difference.

It's why I held off to get this camera.

Sure is, it's number isn't 1, but it's the first vert to roll off the floor. Kinda cool ... it'll be a collectors item down the road and I snagged pics of it.

That is what I meant, Vert number 1... I will be a collectors item some day... just like the other 7 Camaros they own.

If I would stop buying guns, I might be able to get one for me! My D80 will have to do for now.

I was actaully going to ask you if you had used film and not digital... Low light photos like that with digital cameras usually suck. What kind of camera do you have?

Looks like some really stunning cars showed up! Was the one Datsun the only foreign car? The Shelby was a replica right? I want to build one of those someday.

    Great stuff there !

Nikon has always had some quality gear, and their higher end lens are some of the best.

Pesonally, I shoot Canon, but only because of my lens investment.

I'll have to get out to some of the local cruises and put the gear to work. There's going be (hopefully) a big cruise up in Dallas in October that I'm planning on making. Hoping to put my new Gen5 Camaro through it's paces.
