I am continuing to have difficulty with my Browning Buck Mark magazines. I had one that refused to unseat from the well, and the other magazine does not want to feed a round high enough into the feed lips to be chambered. This is discouraging as I have always heard great things about the Buck Marks. Has anyone else had bad luck with these mags? Are there any non-manufacturer mags that work well?

I just recently had very similar issues. Take off your right side grip and pull out your magazine catch and examine the top side. It should be square and not rounded. Mine was worn out and rounded off so It not grabbing the magazine properly. It is pretty unlikely that the magazines are the issue unless they are packed with grit.

I have never had a problem with factory mags.

Never tried any after-market brands, if they even exist (probably do).

First I have read of this problem.

I bought the weapon a few months back from Academy. Brand new. I am using the winchester 333 value box (not sure of the exact type). I noticed that the magazine feeds the Remington Viper rounds better.

Mine didn't like winchester. it fed mine 95% of the time, had a failure to fire 1 in 40 or so an some malfunction related to extraction or feeding a few times a box.

It hasn't had any problems with federal.

    Just a reminder:

Sometimes it is less expensive to buy small amounts of several different brands of .22LR, instead of the 333-500-550 Value packs.

The bulk Federal .22 "Auto Match" never worked well in any of my .22LR pistols or rifles.

I was duped by their claims of "match" accuracy.

Am stuck with twelve boxes thereof, and will not sell it for any price, lest the buyer blame me for crappy ammo.

    Be well.

That works really well in my Ruger MK3. Of course the bulk 550 pack works fine, too... Every gun is a little different when it comes to the ammo it prefers, and .22lr is most ammo sensitive caliber I've ever messed with.
