Bought my first 10/22

I cannot get over how beautiful this thing is. Way too nice to be using and abusing. Guess I'll have to buy another one.

Bought my first 10-22 for $45 back in the 70's. A fine gun for the price.

I prefer the slimmer feel of a Marlin 60/70. But you can't deny the success of the 10/22. My last one has a Magnum research graphite barrel, and a Magpul hunter stock. I never weighed it, but it was so light people thought it was an airsoft gun. It was stolen in our 2nd break in. I still miss that gun.

I had three for decades then I sold one, traded one and gave the best one to my nephew. All gone now

My first 10/22 was also a Stainless Deluxe Sporter. Still have it. Put it to use and the dents and dings will give it character.

Beautiful. I've never owned one but I've been kicking the idea around for some time now. I do have a S&W AR15-22 though. I just can't seem to be able to justify a .22 caliber for anything other than just plinking. Any suggestions on why someone needs a few .22's would be helful in convincing me to go ahead and just do it.

Now, you just need to pick out a nice scope. We have a 10/22 at the ranch in San Saba with a Leupold scope. I think it's a 1x4.

Beautiful addition. 10/22 is the smallblock Chevy of the .22 World. BX-25 magazines and a BX trigger are good starts.
