Aliens, it was created by aliens! There was a single bullet recovered from the Roswell crash site and the federal government used it to design the absoute best self defense caliber, not just on Earth, but in the entire universe. There should be a .40 S&W in every household. That way when the alien envaders come back to take over our planet, we have the one caliber good enoughto stop them!
