This actually happened - sort of.
My wife and I both worked for the same bank. (That's where we met) I was in the insurance department and she was in bookkeeping.

The town we worked in was small with a population less than 500, so most serious shopping was done in the small city 14 miles to the north. (DeWitt) I had to run to the larger town for work. I called Sharon to let her know I'd be out of the office for a while. She wanted me to stop by a specific store and pick something up for her. She told me to just come to the teller's counter where she would meet me with some cash.

She came around the counter and met me in the lobby as I entered. She handed me the cash then gave me a quick peck on the cheek. An old man standing behind me said, "Wow! That's fast and friendly service."

The old fella knew us and knew we were married.
