Deputy sheriff in Nevada called to check on a dismembered body laying by some rail road tracks. Turns out the dismembered guy was still alive. Terrain prevented vehicle access. Cop was ready to carry the guy out on his shoulders the mile back to the road if the helicopter couldn't find a safe landing zone. Cop saved the guys life with his med kit. The victim had been hit by a train and was just bleeding out in the ditch when an Amtrak train spotted him and radioed the freight train following behind them, which was able to stop and check on the guy can call for help.

Suicide, possibly a hobo train hopping? It's pretty easy to avoid getting hit by a train in the desert.

Yeah, unfortunately (or fortunately), the victim is 100% blurred out in the BWC, so we can't see how they're dressed which may be a clue as to if they're a hobo train hopper, or just ambling thru the desert and maybe suicidal. He was over a mile from the nearest road / rail crossing - if he was going for suicide maybe he didn't want / expect his body to be found?

Seems possible he was just out for a wander and walking the tracks as its easier. He was hit in what appears to be broad daylight though - its night time by the helo arrived to air lift him, but very light out when the deputy arrived on scene, and it'd probably been an hour or more before when he was struck.

The only way he didn't GTFO of the way of the train would've been to not hear it (or even feel it, which I would imagine you would feel the vibration of a train approaching, but I dunno, never been that stupid to walk on tracks with an approaching train) - I know of many cases where pedestrians with ear buts / head phones on got hit by trains and cars. If he was walking from the crossing where the deputy arrived at, he would've been facing the train that hit him as it sounds like all train traffic was one-way on that stretch at that time.

Maybe he was Hillary-ed for some reason and the perps forgot to dead-check him

    - did he have Epstein‘s list?

    - did he owe money at the nearest casino?

    - was he a Christian, Catholic, or Jew that was going to vote for a conservative?

    - was he demanding his FRT device back from the ATF after the recent ruling?

In the mid-90s the company I worked for hired a guy in a wheelchair. He was missing both legs. One night I asked and he said he was run over by a train - but he had been drinking.
I also asked him if he could wear prosthetic legs and he said he was happy in the wheelchair. Fake legs were too much work.
