    Rodent chew has been around long before fiber. Squirrels, rats, and all the other little creatures love to chew. They will chew on cabling, closures and everything in between that they can get their little mouths around. It’s a bane on most aerial plant.

    Sounds like job security to me.
    A lot of customers don’t like to see it that way. About the 3rd or 4th time a rat chews their wiring and their internet goes out, all of a sudden I’m supposed to fix their other problems too lol. “Well there’s gotta be something we can do to stop this” like yeah, call an exterminator. No sir, running the cable on the other side of the rat-infested attic is not going to keep them from moving over and chewing on it over there as well.
