Seems like whether it's Sig and/or Lake City producing the Army's ammo new ammo, a lot of capacity (and primers) will be required to fulfill the Army's ammo stockpile requirements.
That wouldn't be so bad if it meant surplus 5.56 and 7.62 were released to the surplus market, but that doesn't seem likely in the current climate... So, this new ammo production probably just reduces civilian supply more...; not as if that will matter much if the U.S. goes to war.
Buying probably won't get any better than it is right now...
